Weekly Favorites: Peripera Oil Capture Pact

I know it's been a while since my last weekly favorites, and I apologize for being so inconsistent. I'll try to be more consistent with my posts so please don't leave me~~ hehe.

Well. With the summer heat here in California, I can't help but feel sweaty and oily all the time. Instead of constantly having to use oil blotting sheets, I enjoy using this adorable pact that is a compressed translucent powder!

Weekly Favorites: The Face Shop Radiance Concealer Dual Veil

One of my absolute favorite concealers is The Face Shop Radiance Concealer Dual Veil. This concealer is unique because it comes with both a liquid and a stick concealer in one product. I've really been enjoying this product these days because my skin has been doing that weird thing again where it peels and hurts. I think it's because of the constantly changing weather. But anyways I can't put on any BB Cream or foundation because it shows off my super dry skin. So I just put on this concealer with some powder on my hyper-pigmentation spots instead of applying a BB cream onto my whole face.

When you watch Korean Dramas, have you ever noticed that the female lead characters actually do not put on a lot of makeup? Even if the celebrities do not have a lot of eyeshadow or eyeliner on, one trend that can be spotted in every Korean drama is that the female lead always has dewy, radiant skin. In Korea, they call this kind of skin 물광피부 (mul- kwang- pi- bu) which in direct translation means watery light skin. This "water- light" skin has been a trend in Korean celebrities for many years. Koreans enjoy a more dewy finish rather than the typicalmatte finish. This dewy, radiant skin can be recreated in many ways.

Review: Banila Co It Radiant CC Cream

Today I bring to you one of my absolute favorite CC Creams. What is a CC Cream? CC Cream stands for Color Control cream. Unlike BB Creams that can often be a little thick, CC Creams are as light as a lotion while performing skin care benefits with a little bit of coverage.
