Weekly Favorites: Skinfood Pineapple Peeling Gel

Hello! I know I've been MIA for couple days but please understand that my finals are coming up next week and so I'll probably be busy for the next couple of days! But after next week.. ITS SUMMER~ So I'll be super free to update all the time YAY!

In the time being, continue reading for my review of the Skinfood Pineapple Peeling Gel!

In the midst of preparing for finals, I fell in love with another skincare product! I actually received this product in a care package that my best friend from Korea sent me.

So.. what exactly is a "Peeling Gel?"
A peeling gel is a gel type consistency where you apply the product onto your skin and as you rub it into your skin, it gently "peels" the dead skin cells on your skin. It's especially good for those with sensitive skin because it does not have any abrasive exfoliating beads that can irritate your skin.

First things first, I absolutely ADORE the packaging of this product! I think it's super cute and easy to use. The squeeze tube packaging makes the product flow out easily without any contamination.

As you can see, the product applies clear, yet it exfoliates the skin the more you rub it into your skin. Here is a close up of the product:

Sorry for the change in lighting, I don't really know what happened...

Although this product is really nice and makes your skin really REALLY smooth after using it, I wouldn't use this product more than once a week since it isn't too good for your skin to exfoliate too often!

Final Rating: 5/5
Pros:

  • Smells just like pineapples. LOVE it.
  • Gently exfoliates the skin without any harshness.
  • Skin does not have tightness after using this product.
  • Cheap! Retails for 7,900 Won which is about 8USD

Cons:

  • Smells like pineapples. Some people don't like putting scenting products on their face.

  4. I'm glad to hear that it smells like pineapples! I've bought pineapple products in the past that smell like generic skincare stuff. I'll have to check this out.
