VDL Expert Color Eye Book 6.4 No. 3

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I know I've been MIA...again.... AND IM SORRY. BUT I'LL TRY TO MAKE UP FOR IT! really! hehe. Starting with this VDL Expert Color Eye Book 6.4 review!
For the holidays, my aunt (who lives in Korea) asked me what I wanted and without hesitation I asked for VDL's newest eyeshadow palette. Originally I wanted the number 1 palette but since they were all sold out, my aunt sent me the number 3. Honestly speaking, I was a bit skeptical of the colors included in the palette but all doubt disappeared when I opened the palette and tried it out myself. Continue reading to find out why!
First things first. THE PACKAGING!
You guys already know that I am a sucker when it comes to pretty packaging and I absolutely LOVE how cute the packaging is!
Look at it in all of it's glory!
The product itself reminds me of the Nintendo 3DS HAHA. but the sleek packaging makes it really handy to carry around. And now that I think about it, because I live off in the dorms whenever I come home, I have to pack everything separately. I pack a base shadow, a shimmery shadow.. or two a couple of blending shadows and a my favorite Bobbi Brown single eyeshadow (Heather.) But with this palette, I can definitely reduce the number of eyeshadows that I pack.
Which then leads me to my second point in why I fell in love with this palette. The eyeshadow colors are super versatile! I don't know about you but most of the eyeshadow palettes that I own, such as the Naked 1 palette have only a single range of colors. For example, the Naked 1 palette is mostly browns and golds and the Naked 3 palette is composed mostly of pinks and purples. This palette however, comes with a wide variety of colors that can be used on an everyday basis.
A couple of days ago, I was browsing in Sephora and came across the color Flame in the Vice Urban Decay palette. Initially I was tempted to just grab it and head over to the cash register but I realized the palette itself was full of colors that I will probably never use. Although I loved that color, I wasn't about to spend over 40 dollars on a palette I'll rarely ever use.
This palette is full of the most trendiest colors! The colors range from deep browns to golds to coppers and purples as well! As the weather has been getting colder in California, I've been loving applying the purply/plumy colors on my eyelids and this eyeshadow palette definitely does the job well done.
Here is a real life picture of the palette:

Also fun fact! I don't know if you guys watch beauty youtubers but I definitely do whenever I have some free time. One of my favorite youtubers is Ssin. I find her beauty tips super useful and love her sense of humor as well. Anyways, recently she had a makeup tutorial with this very palette! SO I guess this VDL palette really is one of the most trendy palettes this year!
Anywhoo. I'm super excited about this palette and the endless possibilities it can create! The eyeshadows are all high quality and almost silky when touched. The fallout is minimal and pigmentation is great.
All in all WOOHOO thank you auntie for sending me this present!
