Beauty How To: Make a Monolid look like a Double Eyelid

I know many Asian girls really want to have double eyelids. We go from eyelid tape, to eyelid glue, to even double eyelid surgery in order to obtain this extra crease on our eyelids. BTW if you're thinking of ever doing double eyelid surgery, it's actually worse for your eye if you regularly use eyelid glue because it makes the eyelid skin droop.
Here is a way to create a shadow on  your eyelid using makeup to give you that illusion of an extra crease!
P.S. GaIn is hands down one of my FAVORITE celebrities with monolids.

Products Needed:

  • Light Brown Eyeshadow
  • Light Brown Eyeliner
  • Dark Brown Eyeliner
  • Mascara

 1. Apply a light brown color eyeshadow all over your lids as a base. This color will also work to create that overall gradient effect.
Product Used: Etude House Look At My Eyes: Caramel Latte.

 2. With your eyes wide open, draw a line with your light brown eyeliner. Outline the shape of your eye with your eye open so that you can the general width of the eyeliner.
Product Used: Etude House Proof 10 Pencil BR 01.

 3. Fill in the outlined area with the same eyeliner. Also apply the eyeliner on your under eyes. Also, using the brown eyeshadow, apply it on the edges of your eyeliner to soften the edges.

 4. With a darker brown eyeliner, outline your previous eyeliner. Just think that you're drawing the shape of your eye.
Product Used: Clio Gelpresso Pencil Gel Liner: Dark Choco No. 4

 5. Completely outline your eyeliner with the dark brown eyeliner. Even to the wing.
 6. Lastly, curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara.
Product Used: Innisfree Skinny Microcara.

 Here is the final look:

Doesn't it look like you actually have double eyelids?
Try it out and tell me how it goes!

    1. Hi Fujimoto Miharu!
Woah.. that's so cool that you have cosmetic tattoos. I've been too cowardly to actually do it for myself.
When outlining the eye, it would would with a black eyeliner, but it would look more natural if it were a light brown eyeliner. The reason why I used brown eyeliners was because it's closer to the skin tone, that way when you draw the crease, it makes it look more like your skin than makeup. But if you can make black eyeliner work, let me know!
