Weekly Favorites: Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

I know it's been a while since the last weekly favorites, but its back! Today's weekly favorites is the Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel. I absolutely adore this product. This is actually my second jar of this product.

I didn't know Nature Republic had a whole Aloe Vera line. I'm thinking of getting either the Aloe Vera Gel Cleanser or the Foam Cleanser. If any of you have tried it, tell me what you think about it down below.

What I absolutely adore about this product is that you can use it for every part of you body including your hair, face, and nails. I've been applying this to my hair right before I blow dry it and it's been helping with the heat damage. The diagram on the left is actually from the Nature Republic page and shows the different parts of your body you can use this product for.
The product comes in this plastic green jar. It may look small but it actually contains a LOT of product because the whole product is filled to the rim with the Aloe Gel. It also comes with this plastic film to cover the product.

The gel itself is colorless and does not have a strong scent. It absorbs into your skin very fast and does not leave a sticky feeling on your skin, so it's perfect for hot summer days. In fact, I like to put this product in my fridge during the summer and apply it cold onto my skin.
Another thing I absolutely love about this product is that it's very versatile. Not only do I use it as a moisturizer whenever my skin has trouble spots, I also mix it into my BB cream whenever I have more dry skin. I often have patches of dry skin on my face and putting BB cream on top of it just accentuates those dry patches even more. I learned that if I mix a little bit of the Aloe Vera Soothing Gel, the BB Cream becomes more watery and so my dry skin is not as noticeable.
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
Pros:
  • Versatile Product: can be used everywhere and anywhere.
  • Cheap. ONLY RETAILS FOR ABOUT 4,000 Won which is only about $4 USD.
  • A lot of product for the price. 300 mL is a LOT.
  • Does not have a strong scent.
  • Absorbs into skin quickly without leaving a sticky residue.
Cons:
  • Packaging is not hygienic. You have to constantly stick your fingers into the jar. As you can see, this is one of my pet peeves.
P.S. :

ALSO! As creepy as this looks, I screenshot a picture of EXO's Miracles in December MV because TADA~~ look at the Aloe Vera featured in this music video! Teehee. Can you tell that I really like EXO yet? I will be doing an EXO's overdose tutorial soon.. I just haven't been able to choose one of the members hehe.
