Review: Banila Co It Radiant CC Cream

Today I bring to you one of my absolute favorite CC Creams. What is a CC Cream? CC Cream stands for Color Control cream. Unlike BB Creams that can often be a little thick, CC Creams are as light as a lotion while performing skin care benefits with a little bit of coverage.

I guess I'm just on a Girls Generation mood these days. Yesterday was a lipstick worn by YoonA today its a CC Cream with Jessica as their main advertisement.

What this product claims:
This CC Cream is supposed to be a base to your actual makeup. It claims to whiten and moisturize. Another fact is that this is Korea's best selling CC Cream supposedly, they went out of stock just after 5 days of releasing this product.
As you can see, the packaging of this CC Cream comes with a pump, which is always a plus because its more hygienic.

As for the coverage of this product, I would not recommend this product if you're looking for a product with high coverage. I enjoy using this product on lazy days where I don't want to feel anything on my skin. It's nice as a sun screen because it has SPF 30 and PA ++. I also would recommend this product if you're living in hot and humid climates. When I went to Korea this summer, I could NOT bear having something on my skin because the weather was just unbearable but this CC Cream was light enough to correct my skin tone and give me a dewy finish without being heavy enough for me to feel it on my skin.
As you can see, the coverage level of this CC Cream is a whooping 1/5. This does NOT cover most acne scars or any areas that need coverage. However, it does whiten you skin just enough to cover any areas of slight redness.
It does also leave a dewy finish, so if you prefer a matte finish, this is not the CC cream for you unless you want to layer another product over it.
CC creams do not have a color range because they blend into your skin no matter what color your skin is. This blew my mind in the beginning because I have darker skin than most Koreans I thought that it would leave a white caste on my skin but it blends in absolutely flawlessly.
Out of all the CC Creams that I have ever tired, I think this is the BEST one.
Final Rating: 4.5/5
Cons:

  • Does not have a lot of coverage... That's all I can think of..

Pros:

  • Light on skin
  • Provides protection from sun
  • blends easily into skin
  • does not have a strong scent
  • Is not oily, doesn't rub off even if you have combination oily skin
All in all, this CC Cream is absolutely GREAT. I would recommend this product to all you makeup lovers especially when you want to have a lazy day.

Please do not be afraid to post any questions, comments, or concerns!
Thanks for reading!

  1. Hi, there! Thanks for posting this link on my blog! this product totally defines what CC cream is all about. I heard about this CC Cream before but never have the chance to try it as it's not readily available in Malaysian store.
...and I never have the gut to shop online (overseas). hehe
Anyway, this is a nice review! I do love to know people's thoughts on products that I want to know more about so this is very much helpful.
Anyway, I followed your Google+ and GFC, do come back and have a visit to my blog and show your support by following. :) If you did, that's very much appreciated.
